About Erik
My name is Erik O’Connell, and I am a Licensed Insurance Broker dedicated to helping individuals confidently navigate Medicare, Social Security, and retirement planning. After earning my insurance license in 2025, I committed myself to becoming a trusted resource for people approaching retirement by providing clear, honest guidance and personalized service.
Before entering the insurance industry, I spent more than 2 decades in the hospitality industry, where I developed a passion for serving others. Working in fine dining taught me the importance of listening, attention to detail, and building lasting relationships—skills that continue to shape the way I care for my clients today.
I was born in Las Vegas and have made Las Vegas my home along with my lovely wife, and son who just graduated from a tech high school. We have always felt connected to the Lakes community and consider our neighbors to be a special part of our home life. In my free time, I enjoy healthy cooking especially barbecuing while entertaining at our home. I take pleasure in exploring the spring mountains and lakes we live near to create meaningful experiences with family and friends.
